The Marketing Coordinator is a vital part of our sales and marketing teams coordinating lead generation through our internet, social media, and trade events. This position assists with coordinating our third-party vendors, trade show events, company web activity, and implementation of our social media marketing strategy. The marketing coordinator stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping manage strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans.

  • Ability to communicate professionally with upper-level management, engineers, clients (Fortune 100 financial, retail, and other firms), vendors, and corporate partners (major wireless telecommunications providers)
  • Graphic design & layout skills a plus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing department activities, including: web content development and management, social media, and printed collateral
  • Link, post, and develop content for corporate Linkedin and Twitter feeds
  • Maintain Ventus blog
    • Event announcements
    • Share related industry articles
    • Channel solutions
    • Product awareness

 

  • Develop web, email, print, and digital communications and promotional literature
  • Collaborate with Sales Team in producing powerpoint presentations for new business, growing existing client relationships, and contract management
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's key values, methodology, capabilities, and brand
  • Other job duties as assigned

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 0 5 years professional experience in technical writing, social media posts, marketing, copywriting, advertising, interactive advertising, and Internet design.
  • Experience in financial business and/or technology sectors a plus
